How long will it take for my product to ship?

Most orders are fulfilled within 2-5 business days, unless otherwise noted in the product description. After placing your order, you will receive two confirmation emails: one confirming that your order has been received, and another confirming that your order has shipped.

From the date your order ships, items take approximately 3-7 business days to arrive. Many Slumbersome products ship directly from our suppliers, and are commonly shipped via FedEx, UPS, or USPS. Tracking information is included in your shipping confirmation email, and will alert you to the specific carrier.

Can I request rush shipping for my order?

If you require expedited shipping, please contact us with your order details and your desired delivery date. We will do our best to accommodate your request.

How will I know when my order is on its way?

Once your order is fulfilled, you will receive tracking information in your shipping confirmation email. So that we may offer a wider range of products, many items are shipped directly from the manufacturer. Shipping carriers include but are not limited to USPS, FedEx, and UPS.

What does it mean when I am told my order is awaiting fulfillment, partially shipped, shipped, or refunded?

When you place an order with us, you will receive email updates with the status of your order.

  • Awaiting Fulfillment: This means we've received your order and are in the process of fulfilling it. 
  • Partially Shipped: For orders with multiple products, sometimes one product ships before another. This is just alerting you that part of your order has been shipped but other items are still awaiting fulfillment.
  • Shipped: All items in your order have been shipped and are on their way!
  • Refunded: This means we have refunded you for your order. Please allow 24-48 hours for funds to show up in your account.

How is my shipping cost calculated?

Shipping is calculated according to the weight of the products in your order. You can find the cost of your shipment in the area entitled "Get Shipping Estimates" in the Shopping Cart, or by referencing the chart on our shipping page.

Will my order be taxed?

Not usually! We are located in Rhode Island, so we are required by law to charge tax on all orders going to a Rhode Island shipping address. All other orders will not be taxed.

What is your return/exchange policy?

We at Slumbersome hold customer care to an exceptionally high standard. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please contact our Customer Experience Team. We guarantee a prompt response to your questions or concerns.

Refunds are provided with considerations to the original outbound shipping costs as well as the restocking fee, if applicable. Customers are responsible for the original outbound shipping costs even if the cost was included in the product price i.e. free shipping or subsidized shipping.

Do your products include instructions?

Yes, most of our products include instructions and additional information. If you have a question about a particular product, or would like instructions emailed to you before purchasing, we are happy to assist you! Please contact slumbersome@retailprojectri.com with your request.

I have a medical condition (such as Sleep Apnea). Will your products help me?

Our products have helped a wide range of customers. If you have been diagnosed with a medical condition, we advise that you consult your doctor before purchasing a sleep aid. While our products may help, your doctor may advise a different solution depending on your needs.

How should I choose the product that is right for me?

Should your products be used alongside pharmaceutical sleep aids?

Our products are actually intended to replace pharmaceutical sleep aids! Our goal is to help people sleep well without the cost and side effects of sleeping pills.

Light Therapy Products

How much light therapy is optimal to improve my sleep habits?

Many people have found that using a light therapy product in the morning for 20 - 40 minutes is ideal, especially during the winter months.  However, there is considerable individual variation in effective light doses. If the light therapy product is not producing desired results, we recommend gradually increasing the amount of time you use the product. This will help you find the correct dose of light therapy for you, and correct your sleep/wake cycles.
